Our Leadership Team

Ray Peloso, CEO


Ray is President and CEO of Katabat, and sits on Katabat’s Board of Directors.  He brings 25 years of diverse consumer lending experience to Katabat, having held executive leadership roles at Royal Bank of Scotland, Capital One, Citibank, and MBNA.   Ray’s prior expertise in consumer credit and lending underpins a clear vision and understanding of the challenges faced by Katabat’s clients in today’s rapidly evolving digital economy. Ray received a BA from Georgetown University and an MBA from Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business, where he is currently Chairman of the MBA Alumni Advisory Council. Ray enjoys time with family, triathlons, and will ski wherever and whenever possible.

Ye Zhang, CTO


Ye cofounded Katabat in 2006, he serves on the Board and continues to enjoy creating technology solutions to solve business problems. Ye’s deep experience in artificial intelligence, banking and internet technologies have and continue to shape Katabat’s product development and evolution. Prior to Katabat, Ye worked for Bridgeforce and Ensuredmail, Inc.

Ye received a BS and Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Sichuan University. He also has his Master’s and Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Delaware.

Ye is an avid technologist and has published multiple conference and journal articles in the fields of computer vision, pattern recognition, and artificial intelligence.

Arthur Haigh, Chief Information Security & Privacy Officer


Arthur, a Certified Information Security Manager, is responsible for the strategy, oversight and management of Katabat’s Information Security, Privacy & Technology Risk programs. Prior to joining Katabat in 2012, he was Vice President, Technology at BlackRock. His diverse background includes enterprise systems administration and management, consulting as well as academic research. Arthur is a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) as well as the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). Arthur received a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Science Degree in Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania.

Jeff Payne,
Chief Financial Officer



Jeff has more than 25 years of finance experience across a range of technology and tech enabled industries from start-up to middle market domestic and multi-national companies.  Jeff gravitates to high growth, entrepreneurial businesses where he can develop then execute strategies to create shareholder value.  He has been the CFO of several businesses which he’s help grow and exit with exceptional returns to shareholders. 

Jeff received a BS in Accounting from Lehigh University and is both a CPA and Chartered Global Management Accountant.  He also serves on several not-for-profit and advisory boards.

Jeff enjoys time with his family and friends including travelling, boating during the summer and skiing and trap shooting in the winter.

Adam Richardson, Executive General Manager, International Markets


Adam leads Katabat’s International business including Australia and Europe. He previously worked for Flexigroup and Commonwealth Bank in Australia where he implemented the Katabat solutions to help drive operational and credit loss improvements. Adam holds a graduate diploma in Business Administration and Management from the Royal Brisbane Institute of Technology and brings over 15 years of Credit Risk, Fraud and Operational experience from a number of Australian Institutions. Adam was also a team member and later coach with Water Polo Australia, Australia’s national water polo organization.

Mike D’Andrade, General Manager, North America


Mike leads Katabat’s North American business and brings more than 25 years of experience in banking, software, and software sales to the Katabat team. Prior to Katabat, Mike held a variety of leadership positions at Experian, Swift Financial (now PayPal), and MBNA (now Bank of America).

Mike completed an undergraduate double major at the University of Delaware and holds diplomas in consumer, commercial, and mortgage lending.

Mike enjoys spending time with his family, boating, motorcycling, running, and volunteering.

Wendy Staudt, Head of Marketing and Sales Enablement


Wendy is responsible for leading Katabat’s marketing strategy and optimizing velocity of the sales cycle. She brings nearly 30 years of marketing, business development and operations expertise, with a track record of delivering operational efficiency and revenue growth. After a 20-year career at MBNA and Bank of America, Wendy pivoted to smaller growth companies, The Kessler Group and CE-SOLUTIONS, leading marketing and business development initiatives.

Wendy received a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Delaware’s Lerner College of Business and Economics.

Wendy enjoys brewing kombucha, gardening, exercising, healthy cooking and spending time with family.

Gary Albers, Head of Advisory Services


Gary joined Katabat in 2008 and has played a critical role in launching the company's multifunctional customer management platform. His 20+ years of experience in banking and technology lend well in helping our clients get the most out of Katabat’s products. Gary’s previous work experience includes positions at Barclay’s and Amazon.

Gary holds a BS from the University of Delaware as well as a Microsoft Certification in Systems Engineering.

Kelly Dickerson, Head of Product Strategy


Kelly is responsible for identifying new products and taking new business ideas from concept to prototype to market launch for Katabat’s diverse client base.  His team’s deep understanding of global client needs through market and competitive research ensures value added implementation and utilization of Katabat’s highly flexible and scalable technology platform.

Kelly holds a bachelor’s degree of science in Chemistry from Virginia Tech and is currently enrolled in the U.S. Army War College.  Kelly’s experience in financial services spans operational and analytical roles at Capital One and Citizens Bank as well as Venture Capital with QED Investors.

Kelly is also a U.S. Army Reserve officer where he has served for over 25 years including several overseas deployments and is a Board Member for Capitol Post, a non-profit for transitioning military veterans and their spouses.

Elysandra Ziegler, VP, Product


Ely joined the Katabat team in 2009 bringing 15+ years of business development and operations experience.  Ely has held a variety of leadership roles within client delivery and product management. Prior to Katabat, Ely spent 15 years at MBNA in a variety of roles within business development and marketing. After MBNA, Ely was a founding member of a credit card start-up, responsible for establishing all operational process for their growing affinity portfolio. Ely studied Business Management at Wilmington University. Ely enjoys spending time with her family and attending all of her children’s activities. She’s known as the loudest member of their cheering squad!

Samar Nandyala, VP, Engineering


Samar has vast experience developing enterprise solutions with cutting-edge technologies. With more than 15 years of expertise in software development, Samar has guided Katabat's engineering teams, both in-house and offshore, in building scalable infrastructures and robust, yet easy-to-use applications and APIs. Before joining Katabat, Samar was a software engineer at various tech firms including Malvi Systems where he worked with top-tier news and entertainment clients.

Samar holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in India.

Kyle Christensen, VP, New Business


Kyle joined Katabat in 2011 as a Relationship Executive. He has served in many roles within the company and is currently responsible for Business Development.  Kyle has a diverse background in Operations and Strategy Management, with a focus throughout his career on technology solutions. Prior to Katabat, Kyle worked at Sallie Mae, leading collections strategy and infrastructure management.

Kyle holds both a BA and MBA from the University of Wisconsin and brings 20 years of technology and business experience to Katabat.

Kyle is an avid reader, has been a little league coach, and loves doing outdoor activities with his family.

Bob is the founder of Osage Partners, where for the last 25 years he has been investing in early-stage growth companies. Osage backs entrepreneurs across a variety of fields, from tech startups to innovative retail concepts.

Richard is a Venture Partner with Camden Partners. His focus is on investments in the business and financial services, health care, and education markets.

Dawn Willey

Dawn is founder and CEO of Bridgeforce, Inc., a financial services consulting firm. She has more than 25 years of experience in the consumer and small business lending and payment industries.

Eric Rubino

Eric is the CEO at Ohana Companies, Inc. He brings more than 30 years of experience in the IT industry as well as leadership and entrepreneurial expertise.

Jeff Davison

Jeff is a Venture Partner with Activate Venture Partners, which provides early stage venture capital for high growth technology companies solving important problems in financial services, healthcare and other compelling markets. He has over 30 years of experience investing in early stage technology companies.

Ye Zhang
